Antique original green painted Swedish farm tool with simplistic hand-painted depiction of farmers in the process of scutching flax. This Swedish hand-carved scutching knife was used during the flax harvest season, but the hand-painted details raised it from a tool to a decoration as well, showing off the individual's craftsmanship and personal style.  Each one is unique, please examine the photos to appreciate details such as the date of 1944 and monogram "J.P."
